Advertising campaign for Salomon's snowboards.

The campaign named ‘no boundaries’ brings the big mentality of shredding into your own backyard. This campagin says that no matter where you live if there is fresh snow, you can shred. The social campaign would include local snowboarders who take advantage of their city to shred.

The first part of the campaign would make users download the salomon app where they could see other snowboarders near them. By using bluetooth, the app would pin point where they are and show them on a map. This way people can look for specific snowborders in their area.

The second part of the campaign would include celebrity snowboarders and surprise pop-up locations with a “shred along”. The social ads would include stories about where the snowboarders are from, and what board is there favorite. They will mention what city they will be visiting, but not when. The dates and times would not be released, giving the event even more hype. There would be macro photo hints dropped on Instagram and Facebook. Evenly the full photo is shown and the location revealed. While the customer is checking the Salomon app daily for the surprise pop-up location, we would have promotional deals on gear and boards, thus raising sales. Once at the pop-up location, we would sell exclusive swag and merchandise to customers. Once the campaign has closed, all the exclusive gear would be made public and sold on Salomon.com.
